I’ve always felt my imagination likes playing with textures and little obsessions. Why are some objects just so sacred to dogs? Their shape, the fuzzy felt, that specific feeling when they chew on them. So, a weird question popped into my head: why couldn’t a dog, the ultimate ball chaser, become its own most desired object?
And here is the result – a character built entirely out of a pile of tennis balls. My favorite part is how those simple, wavy white seams on every single sphere naturally create the illusion of a poodle’s curly fur texture, without needing any extra drawn lines.
This little tennis dog is just standing there, looking calm and kind of proud. It feels like he carries all that pure doggy joy and happiness right inside himself. He doesn’t even need to chase the dream, because he literally is the dream.
