Hey everyone, Semuelis back again with another doodle for you all. This time, I decided to take things underwater. I present to you – the Submarine Duck.
I was thinking about ducks and how they are already perfectly built for the water. But what if one wanted to explore the really deep ocean without getting its feathers completely soaked? That was basically the entire thought process behind this little guy. I started sketching a standard duck head and thought, “You know what, he needs a proper vessel.”
I kept the colors pretty simple for this one – cool light blues for the sub, contrasting with that classic bright yellow for the beak and the porthole rims. It is just a fun, silly concept that made me smile a lot while I was drawing it.
