Hello! I am Semuelis, and I present to you one of my most fun (and probably weirdest) pieces – the illustration “Beethoven of biceps”.

This drawing was born from a desire to play with absurdity and merge two completely incompatible worlds into one visual joke. I have always loved creating situations that throw you off guard, so I thought: what if I crossed the genius and fragility of classical music with the raw, sweaty power of the gym? And to make things even more surreal, instead of a human at the keys, I sat down… a pigeon.

What hides in the details

Total contrast

The core of the illustration is the mismatch between a massive, pumped-up bodybuilder’s physique and the typical, slightly deranged stare of a pigeon. He looks like he just finished a heavy chest and biceps workout block but decided to relax by playing a sonata.

Anatomical absurdities

Drawing those little yellow bird feet controlling the massive piano pedals, and the muscular arms trying to gracefully touch the keys, was incredibly fun.

Colors and style

A bright, mint background was chosen specifically. It catches the eye and allows the black instrument and the gray bird to stand out as much as possible. The clear, comic-style outlines emphasize that this piece shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

My goal as a creator here was simple – to make you smile. Sometimes you don’t need to look for deep meanings in art, sometimes a muscular pigeon who is a true virtuoso of the gym is more than enough.
